Respond: to the Lord’s leading, word, voice, and heart in faith (faith = RISK).
Invitation: to accept His invitation and initiation, versus a good work or ministry activity.
Specific: to a task, activity, responsibility, mission, calling etc.
Kingdom: to glorify the King (Jesus) and expand His Kingdom.
Assignments are appointed (called – kaleo) by the Lord, to an individual or group, for a specific task, activity, or responsibility related to His Kingdom purposes.
Assignment Examples

Paul - encountered Jesus & shared the good news to the Gentiles.

Joseph - made preparations to survive a 7 year famine.  

Esther - petitioned a king on behalf of her people.  

John the Baptist - prepared the way for the Lord.
